Grow your research career with an internship that actually teaches something.
From corporate research desks to grassroots NGOs, from remote data projects to specialised institutes — Lotus Worldwide Research Foundation places scholars and students into internships built around real mentorship, real output, and a certificate that means something.
Built for people who want a real research foundation under their feet.
Most internships collect a certificate and forget you. Ours is designed around mentorship, output and the kind of exposure that shows up on a CV in a way recruiters actually notice.
Real mentors, not managers
Every intern is paired with a subject-matter mentor — a working researcher, editor or analyst — who reviews your work personally, not a rotating helpdesk.
Work you can show later
You leave with an actual portfolio piece: a published note, a data analysis, a proposal draft or a research report — something concrete, not a participation slip.
Flexible, remote-friendly
Most tracks run online with flexible weekly hours, so the internship fits around your semester, thesis deadlines, or day job.
Verified certification
Every completed internship is logged and verifiable — a QR-linked certificate you can attach to applications, LinkedIn or your CV without a second thought.
Letter of recommendation
Strong performers receive a personalised LOR from their mentor — useful for higher studies, PhD applications, or your next job hunt.
A community, not a cohort number
Join the Lotus Worldwide Research Foundation network — access to workshops, masterclasses and a peer group of scholars across disciplines.

Every internship at Lotus Worldwide ends with tangible proof of your work — not just a name on a template.
What past interns say about the experience.
The mentor feedback was the most useful part — I actually understood how to structure a literature review by the end of week two.
Working with the NGO track gave me field data experience I couldn’t get from a classroom. My final report became part of my dissertation.
Flexible hours meant I could intern while finishing my thesis. The certificate and LOR genuinely helped my PhD applications.
Common questions before you apply.
Undergraduate students, postgraduate scholars, and PhD candidates from any discipline are welcome to apply. Some tracks may have discipline-specific preferences, mentioned at the time of onboarding.
Most tracks are unpaid but certificate and mentorship based, focused on skill-building. Select company-track roles occasionally include a stipend depending on project scope — this is clarified during the screening call.
Typically 8–12 hours per week, spread flexibly across the internship duration you choose (4, 8, or 12 weeks).
Yes. Every intern who completes their assigned deliverables receives a verified, QR-linked completion certificate, and strong performers additionally receive a Letter of Recommendation.
